Anewtech HIT-W151 is a 15.6” healthcare or retail infotainment terminal with Intel Atom D510 processor. Intel® Atom™ processor consumes low power and is fanless, delivering quiet, cost-efficient performance. It is designed with flexibility in mind, from its choice of operating systems, to its peripheral support. With the HIT-W151, choice of Windows® XP, XPe, 7 or WES7 is available, as is Linux Fedora 13.
The system is equipped with a built-in smartcard insert tray and RFID sensor, 802.11 b/g/n wireless LAN, and dual Gigabit Ethernet ports, and it has optional support for an MSR module and a barcode scanner. HIT-W151 comes with stereo speakers, a built-in 2.0 megapixel camera, and Compact Flash, giving it flexibility to support a wide range of applications, from movies-on-demand to VOIP. The slim design is great for space-conscious environments, and the total cost of ownership is much lower than other terminals in its class.
HIT-W151 is dual-certified with standard industry certifications and a UL / EN 60601-1 certification for medical computing devices. The system is designed for high reliability with port isolation between data ports and electrical connections, plus current leakage controls for safer operation. The industrial-grade front panel and chassis is IPX1/IP54 -certified and the front panel is sealed against spills and drips; it can be further fortified with installation of an optional anti-bacteria chassis.
